Who We Support

This provision is specifically designed for children and young people with SEND and highly complex behavioural, regulation and social / emotional needs. Due to the intensive nature of the support provided, and in order to ensure the safety, wellbeing and engagement of all participants and staff, the following entrance criteria must be met:

SEND and Highly Complex Behavioural, Regulation and Social / Emotional Needs

The child or young person must present with significant and persistent behavioural and/or emotional regulation needs that cannot be safely or effectively supported in universal or targeted group settings.

High Staff Support Ratio Required

The child or young person must require a minimum staffing ratio of 2:1 to access any group-based provision safely. This includes needs related to emotional regulation, physical safety (of self and others), and engagement.

Specialist Trained Staff Only

All staff within the provision are trained to NAPPI UK standards (Non-Abusive Psychological and Physical Intervention). Children or young people referred to the setting must require staff trained in this specialist approach due to the level of physical intervention or proactive support they may require.
